NEET SS 2025 Exam Pattern

The NEET SS exam pattern changed last year. Time-bound sections have been introduced. While the total number of questions and duration remained the same, the questions were divided into three sections of 50 questions each, with a duration of 50 minutes. It is expected that the NEET SS 2025 exam pattern will continue to be the same as last year.

NEET SS Exam Eligibility Criteria

Here are a few eligibility criteria that candidates must meet for being able to attempt NEET SS 2025: 

• Educational Qualification - The candidate must have a provisional pass certificate for a postgraduate degree, or they can also possess any equivalent qualification.
• Registration Certificate: The candidate must present a provisional or a permanent registration certificate at either exam center. This certificate is either issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the State Medical Commission. 
• NRIs & MCI Registration - If you are a non-resident Indian appearing for the exam, you must submit an MCI registration. However, you must be registered with the relevant medical authority in their respective countries. 
• Temporary Registration for Foreign Nationals - If you are a foreign medical candidate, you are eligible for temporary registration. The latter remains valid for the duration of their postdoctoral studies after qualifying for the exam. This registration is restricted to the institution or college where they secured admission.

How to Apply for NEET SS Exam 2025? 

As the entire application process of the NEET SS exam 2025 is online, it is very smooth and easy. 

1. Registration - You’ve to begin by visiting the official NBEMS website and register by providing basic details. 
2. Application Form - Once you’re done with the registration, you’ll be required to fill out the detailed application form, including personal and educational information, and the exam centers that you prefer. 
3. Upload Your Documents - You’ll then be required to upload scanned copies of the required documents. These include photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions. 
4. Fee Payment: You’ll be asked to pay ₹3,500 for the application over preferred online payment methods. 
5. Confirmation: Once you’ve submitted all your documents, you are supposed to download and print the confirmation for when you need it in the future.

The NEET SS 2025 syllabus is specialty-specific, focusing on the feeder broad specialty courses. Candidates should thoroughly review the curriculum of their respective specialties to ensure comprehensive preparation.

Admit Card

The admit card will be available for download from December 22, 2025. It will contain essential details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam centre, and timing. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam center.

Exam Centers

NEET SS 2025 will be conducted across 36 cities in India. Candidates can select their preferred exam centers during the application process. The exact venue details will be provided on the admit card.

Result Declaration

The results are now expected to be announced on January 28, 2026. Candidates can access their results on the official NBEMS website by entering their login credentials. The result will display the candidate's score, percentile, and qualifying status. Direct Link to the NEET SS 2024 result is here.

Steps to Check NEET SS 2025 Result

1. Visit the official NBE website: nbe.edu.in or directly go to this result link.
2. On the homepage, select the ‘NEET SS’ tab.
3. Click on the ‘Results’ option.
4. Choose the result PDF for your respective super speciality course.
5. Find your NEET SS 2025 roll number in the list.
6. Check your marks and rank mentioned in the PDF.
7. Download and save the result for future reference.

How to Download NEET SS 2025 Scorecard

1. Go to the official NEET SS 2025 website.
2. Click on the ‘Login’ tab.
3. Enter your User ID, Password, and Security Code/Captcha.
4. Select the ‘Scorecard’ option.
5. Download the NEET SS 2025 scorecard in PDF format.
6. Take multiple printouts and keep them safe until the admission process is complete.

NEET SS 2025 Cutoff

NEET SS cutoff refers to the minimum score or percentile to obtain in order to qualify for the exam. The NEET SS cutoff has been released along with the results.
